How to Earn Yen and Estimate the Next Unlock

Use real fights to earn Yen, measure one payout yourself, and turn that number into a fight count for the next panel price.

Yen is the progression currency. The official description says fighting earns it and that you use it to unlock characters. There is no published payout table, quest board, or daily listed on the experience page.

What the reports agree on

Gameplay writeups say landed hits add Yen and knockouts pay more than a poke. A July 21 session described 5 Yen for hitting a player who had not been hit yet in that window, and said the same player did not pay again until the hit pool moved on. An August 5 session described about 40 to 50 Yen for some knockouts off the edge. Those are single sessions, not a rate card. Watch your own counter after one clean hit and after one knockout before you plan a grind.

Hiding through a round does not match the official loop. Long chases also waste the round: you leave other fights, spend Dash, and walk toward the water. Take a target who is close, already committed, and not standing between you and the edge.

A short session you can compare

  1. Write the balance and the next displayed character cost.
  2. If a 500Y FREE sign is in this lobby, follow that sign once. It is a reported starter panel, not the repeatable method. Steps are in the starter-reward guide.
  3. For several minutes, take short side approaches. Confirm with the basic or light move, then decide whether the heavy move is safe.
  4. After a knockout, turn back toward the center.
  5. Stop and subtract. Change only one thing next time: character, target choice, or server. Changing all three hides what helped.

Beginner Servers, Duels, and Easy Mode exist in this universe. Roblox does not publish their Yen rules. Compare them only by recording the same character across a similar amount of time, and read the result screen before treating a duel win as income.

A labeled estimate

Use numbers from your panel and your last comparable fight. This is arithmetic, not a hidden game formula.

  • If the panel spends Yen, gap = displayed cost minus current balance, and never below zero.
  • If the panel is a threshold, remaining = threshold minus current total, and never below zero.
  • Estimated fights = remaining divided by the Yen you just recorded for one comparable fight, rounded up.

Example only: cost 1,250, balance 500, and you just recorded 40 Yen for one knockout in this server. Gap = 750. Estimated knockouts = 19. Replace 40 with your measurement. Do not paste 5 or 40 in as an official payout.

The August 22 article also listed Robux bundles from 20 Robux for 400 Yen up to 879 Robux for 40,000 Yen. Those rates are dated. Read the current Store before you pay. A larger bundle in that old table gave more Yen per Robux than the smallest one, but the live shelf can differ.

If the balance barely moves

Check that the server is crediting the hit, not only playing the animation. Try another server before you change characters. If you keep falling, fix the camera and stop dashing toward water. If you die during the heavy move, you are using it before the hit is confirmed. If a site offers AFK Yen, raids, or trait wheels for this game, it is describing a different experience.

Do not feed kills with an alternate account or an auto-farm script. The listing bans alt farming, exploiting, cheating, and bug abuse.
